Curriculum
Gardening can inspire a sense of wonder and engagement in students that they haven't yet experienced. Watching a tiny seed grow into a plant that they can then harvest and eat as a snack can spark curiousity and healthy behaviors.
Gardens provide opportunities to teach a variety of subjects from math and science to technology and art, and can teach kids to be creative problem solvers.
Several curricula are available here, both for learning in the garden and in the classroom.
