Junior Chef Competition

SPS 5th SemiAnnual Junior Chef Competition

May 6th, 2023

​

​

Up to 16 teams of students (8 teams in grades 3-5 and 8 teams in grades 6-8) are invited to show off their creative take on classic Italian dishes, excluding pizza! Ingredients for the tasty recipes will be purchased during a trip to the Farmers Market of the Ozarks the morning of the event, and grown in our own school gardens!  These original recipes will be crafted on site at Hillcrest High and sampled by our guest judges. Judges will award teams in the following categories:

Best Use of Local Food
Best Presentation
Best Recipe and Taste
Best Team Spirit
