Seeking Local Farmers

Springfield Public Schools is on the frontlines of the chronic health challenges facing the community, with most of Springfield's children getting a significant portion of their food five days a week at school. The School District of Springfield R-12 is the largest accredited school district in Missouri with approximately 25,000 students in 52 schools. Springfield Public Schools is currently seeking local farmers selling produce. We are seeking significant quantities from GAPs certified farmers. If you are a farmer but not GAPs certified and wish to sell to the district, please use the email address listed below to learn more about our food safety requirements.
