Southwest Missouri has a rich agricultural history and a wealth of healthy farmland. Springfield Public Schools is developing partnerships with several local farmers to provide fresh produce in our schools.
In 2011, David and Terry Quick wanted to create a business that would allow them to work together as a family and help their community. The Quicks chose farming and Quickley Produce Farms was born in Galena, Missouri! The farm mainly grows tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers. Their produce can be found in grocery stores, restaurants, and now on the plate in Springfield Public Schools.
